Another proud day! Francois D’Haene wins the UTMB on a new course due to freezing cold, wet and dangerous conditions.
There will be millions of reports, opinions and blogs about the race so I will leave it to you to search all of that out.
As for me, I had a wonderful night out on the course seeing all sorts of people taking the challenge to step outside of or into their comfort zones and face up to the conditions. We danced and sang in the rain to the Beegees, we filmed with the unrelenting African Attachement and DROZ Photography (see more of his UTMB pictures here) and shared the energy, nerves, excitement, pain and love that all of us were in search for.
